Knicks 4 Life NewsFeed
What is a newsfeed ?
News Feeds allow you to get the latest headlines -- as soon as its published -- directly on your desktop, without having to visit the website that provides the feed. Feeds are also known as "RSS" (Really Simple Syndication).
How can I use a newsfeed ?
You can view newsfeeds with a softwarepackage called a 'Newsreader'. You find a list of recommended newsreaders in the table on the right.
You can also view the newsfeed using a browser. The advantage of this approach: you do not have to download any of the feeds. Compare it with using a web-based e-mailservice to view your messages instead of an e-mailclient like Outlook or Thunderbird.
Once you decided which newsreader to use, you can subscribe to various feeds. You find a list of the available feeds here:
Simply click the link of the feed you want to subscribe to. Your newsreader will let you subscribe to it.

Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera and Safari, automatically check for feeds for you when you visit a website, and display an icon when they find one. This can make subscribing to feeds much easier. For more details on these, please check their websites.
